About Simlipal
Simlipal National Park in the Mayurbhanj district is famous for two extraordinary natural spectacles — spectacular waterfalls including Barehipani and Joranda, among India's highest, and the documented presence of melanistic (black) tigers, a rare colour mutation recorded here more than anywhere else in the world.
