About Gangotri

Gangotri National Park is a high-altitude wilderness in the Garhwal Himalayas, centred on the Gangotri Glacier — the source of the Bhagirathi River that becomes the Ganga at Devprayag. The park encompasses some of the most spectacular glacial and alpine landscape in the Indian Himalaya, and snow leopards stalk the rocky ridges above the glacier.
