About Madhav

Madhav National Park in Shivpuri is a plateau wilderness of dry deciduous forest and rocky ravines dotted with Mughal and Maratha-era monuments. The Sakhya Sagar and Madhav Sagar lakes within the park attract huge flocks of migratory waterfowl in winter. George V hunted here during the Delhi Durbar of 1911.
