About Rajaji

Rajaji National Park spans the Shivalik Hills between Haridwar and Dehradun, forming the western anchor of the critical Himalayan Terai elephant corridor that links to Corbett and beyond. Named after independence leader C. Rajagopalachari (Rajaji), the park is one of the few places where elephants, tigers, and leopards are observed against a backdrop of forested Himalayan foothills.
