About Sri Venkateswara

Sri Venkateswara National Park surrounds the sacred Tirumala Hills adjacent to the world-famous Tirupati temple. The park protects a biologically rich transition zone between the Deccan dry forests and Eastern Ghats. Leopards move through the ridges while the park's lower slopes host one of India's highest densities of Indian star tortoises.
