About Anshi-Dandeli Rainforest
The Anshi-Dandeli Tiger Reserve is Karnataka's northernmost tiger reserve and the most reliable location in India for observing the black panther — the melanistic form of the leopard — in the wild. The Kali River flows through the reserve, its banks lined with smooth-coated otters and nesting ospreys, and white-water rafting on the Kali has made Dandeli one of India's premier adventure tourism destinations.
