About Chandoli

Chandoli National Park is part of the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve, sitting atop the high Ghats escarpment. The park's dense moist deciduous and semi-evergreen forest is the source of the Warna River. Gaur herds graze the forest clearings while leopards and sambar move through the dense undergrowth of this less-visited but richly biodiverse Ghats park.
