About Dudhwa

Dudhwa National Park is a remarkable Terai wilderness on the Nepal border, one of India's finest grassland ecosystems. Conservationist Billy Arjan Singh — who spent his entire life here — famously reintroduced tigers, rhinoceros, and leopard to the area. The vast elephant-grass meadows and dense riverine forests host extraordinary wildlife densities.
